Sole mandate with video walk through.
The original Adèle Naude Santos home designed for her parents and built in 1967, situated in a leafy Kenilworth Upper road.
Designed around privacy, each bedroom has its own garden and the house is inconspicuous from the road. For the art lover, skylights were created to illuminate and showcase the art belonging to her parents and also today for our client who has restored this home to its former glory.
Entry to this intriguing home is by a beautifully planted bricked pathway leading to the fire engine red front door. As you step into this modernist home, you are immediately drawn to the architectural brilliance of this house and the lovely natural light that floods into the rooms. Each way you look there are pockets of the lush outdoor greenery and places to relax at different times of the day or to suit your mood. At anytime you are completely private to your neighbours. We deliberately photographed the house in the morning and the afternoon to show the natural light.
ACCOMMODATION IN ORDER OF FLOW –
Entrance hall / open plan living space and dining / kitchen / 4th bedroom with kitchenette and separate entrance / bathroom / three further double en-suite bedrooms all with private garden spaces. The master suite has an outdoor shower. One of the very generous bedrooms has not been photographed as it is currently being used as an art studio by our client. The unashamedly orange bathrooms have been renovated to compliment the mid century design as well as the shades of teal, orange, green and yellow in the kitchen.
Externally there is laundry room and double garage.
